Miss Jen

President / Administrator

I have been in childcare for more than 10 years. I have my bachelors degree in elementary education. I have had the pleasure of working in roles from lead teacher to assistant director. My passion for helping children learn and grow compelled me to become an owner so I can ensure the children here at Wee Wons receive a research-based, caring, and holistic education.

I have the pleasure of working behind the scenes! I spend much of my time helping to make sure things run smoothly at Wee Wons. From marketing and website design to maintenance and over-seeing new security measures, I make sure everyone at Wee Wons is safe, and has all the tools and supplies to keep teaching at the highest level!

I have my bachelors degree in early childhood education, because that is truly where my heart lies! When I’m not working to help make Wee Wons the best learning center in the world I spend time with my husband of 7 years, Michael. We have two beautiful children, and our sweet 10 year old bulldog named Gwen.

Pre-K Counts Teacher

I have worked in daycare and early learning centers for 14 years! I have my Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education, and my Master’s degree in early childhood education! When I’m not working you can find me taking my new baby girl Emma, and two boys Jacob, and Joseph to all their sports. I love watching a baseball game (GO Yankees!) I am looking forward to teaching your children, and helping to see their mistakes not as failures, but as part of the learning process

I am in the Pre-K Counts room with Ms. Amanda. I have been teaching children for over 15 years, first in NY, and then in a small Wyoming town. I look forward to working with you and your children! When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and cooking large Italian meals for my family!

I was adopted into a family of 12 siblings and was the 13 child to be adopted. From Africa (Liberia Monrovia) and got to live a better life in the United States. I’m a big football fan and basketball fan. I love to cook. My dad who is a lawyer always told me to always do what you love, and working with the Wee Wons daycare has been and amazing and wonderful career that I love.

I have been working with children since I was16 years old. I have made it a passion to treat the kids as if they were my own. I’m currently in my 4th year of college pursuing my psychology degree at Penn State! I will be furthering my education and getting my Master’s degree. In my spare time I like to listen to music, to be around friends, and family, and I also love to be outside! I look forward to helping your children succeed and grow everyday!

I have been working in childcare for over six years, and I can’t imagine doing anything else! I am currently working on finishing my associates degree in early childhood education, and plan to go for my bachelors degree as well. Working with children is my passion! I am excited for my journey here at Wee Wons. When I’m not working I spend all my free time with my spunky 3 year old daughter, Aubree. I am looking forward to helping your children learn, grow, and become their own unique person!

I believe in building relationships with children! I love learning from them, and watching them grow, I have 8 years of experience, and even teach Sunday preschool at my church. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog Marley. I look forward to coming to Wee Wons everyday!

I have my bachelors in human services. I wanted a degree that would allow me to utilize my skills by helping children understand the importance of education and networking. My goal at Wee Wons is to have a positive impact on the lives of children, and build relationships that will help them grow! I have a family of five that includes two dogs!

I have been at Wee Wons for over 12 years, and have a total of 20 years experience working with children! I have my associates degree in early childhood education and plan to go back to further my education. I enjoyed becoming part of all my students’ families, and now get to influence higher quality education as a director!

Office Assistant

I’ve been in childcare for 3 years. I enjoy helping children learn and grow. I love seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they learn something new or get something they’ve been struggling with. When I’m not at work I spend time with my nieces and nephews, traveling and spending time at the beach or in the mountains. I love the fall and football! (GO EAGLES!). I love trying new genres of food and new places to eat.

I mostly worked with the toddlers, but now I get to spend time with our infants as well! I have been working at Wee Wons for a little over three years. I love it! I proudly finished my CDA this year, and plan to keep advancing my education. I have been happily married for 12 years and we have an 11 year old daughter, and a new baby boy, Ash!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn NYC by Caribbean immigrant parents. I have over 30 years of childcare and family support experience. I currently live in Stroudsburg and I enjoy gardening, cooking, and yard sales.

Hi everyone! I work mostly in the toddler room. I am originally from Jordan so I also speak Arabic. Working with kids has taught me so much. I unfortunately do not have children of my own, so I see the kids at Wee Wons as my own. I enjoy my job a lot, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world!

I believe that teaching is one of the most important and rewarding jobs a person can do. It brings me great joy to be able to contribute to a child’s educational and emotional development. I have 5+ years working with children and I have one young son whom I’m always teaching. I have an AAS degree in Liberal Arts and I am currently in the process of furthering my education to become a better educator.

I have always wanted to teach, even as a child! I started 10 years ago and become a substitute teacher. I love helping children learn and play. I have three children, a daughter and two step sons- we LOVE pizza!
